Jim McAleer – President & CEO

Jim leads Alzheimer’s Orange County and Healthy Aging Center: Acacia in executing the agency’s mission. Additionally, he mentors and leads an Executive Team comprised of highly qualified and industry-experienced individuals, in developing and implementing the agency’s strategic plan.

Juvi De Neve – Chief Operating Officer

Juvi is an integral part of the AlzOC executive team, responsible for managing the increasing fiscal responsibility of the organization amidst its recent rapid growth.  Juvi has been instrumental in onboarding AlzOC’s  Adult Day Services programs. Juvi’s professional success is a reflection of her own personal story; she immigrated from the Philippines to the United States over 25 years ago, arriving with little more than the clothes on her back, yet determined to achieve the American dream. Juvi received her BS in Accounting from De La Salle University, and was employed as an Accountant for International School, Cleveland Chiropractic College, and Sunrise Church and School before joining the Alzheimer’s Orange County team in 2012 as an Administrative Assistant, Finance and HR.  Juvi served as AlzOC’s Chief Financial Officer from 2015-2020 and in November of 2020, was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Juvi’s selfless dedication to AlzOC, and in turn, the thousands of OC residents affected by memory loss, serve as the embodiment of AlzOC’s values and mission.

Margie Wright – VP of Community Engagement

Since 2009 Margie has been an integral part of the Alzheimer’s Orange County team. She oversees Alzheimer’s Orange County’s Community Engagement Department, and is responsible for the coordination and execution of all fundraising aspects related to AlzOC. She successfully mentors and leads her team in the flawless execution of annual fundraising events; cultivating and establishing community and corporate relations; developing and implementing the department strategic plan; and processing and attaining of over 20 community and governmental grants.

Pamela Austin – VP of Memory Support Services

Pamela is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the community-based healthcare field. She leads a highly qualified team of individuals who are educated in the field of social work and gerontology, to provide a myriad of educational and supportive programs and services. She oversees the development and implementation of the organization’s education strategic plan, ensuring AlzOC reaches every corner of Orange County and those affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Patty Barnett Mouton – VP of Outreach & Advocacy

Patty is the ‘voice-in-the-community,’ leading her team of well-informed and experienced professionals and interns in educating the community and advocating on behalf of Alzheimer’s Orange County. She guides and mentors her staff, ensuring that Orange County’s elected officials, physicians, healthcare and senior care professionals, as well as spiritual leaders, are well versed on the growing need for enhanced elder care, especially pertaining to those affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias. Additionally, Patty is an expert in the field of End of Life Care and Advance Care Planning, providing countless presentations and lectures locally and nationally.
