Your donation directly supports the programs and services that serve the 164,000 residents of Orange County who are affected by Alzheimer’s, mild cognitive impairment or other related dementia diseases. Alzheimer’s Orange County (ALZOC®) is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and your gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Facebook

Use Facebook to start your own fundraiser online. 100% of the proceeds go to Alzheimer’s OC. Starting October 31, 2023 Facebook will implement a processing fee for all donations. Contact us if you have questions on how to get started.

A professionally licensed, bonded and insured towing company will pick-up your car donation and provide you with a vehicle donation receipt.

Matching Gifts

Your company may have a matching gifts program. Matching gifts can double or even triple your contribution. Please contact your company’s Human Resources Department to see if your company is eligible.

Corporate Partnerships

Payroll deductions, matching gifts, and event sponsorships are great ways to support the organization.

If your employer conducts an employee contribution program through the United Way or one of the other federated campaigns, please remember to designate Alzheimer’s Orange County on your campaign form.

You may also choose to remember Alzheimer’s Orange County by naming the organization the beneficiary of your Retirement Plan or Insurance Policy.

Stocks & Bonds

Gifts such as stocks or bonds may offer substantial tax advantages. A full fair market value deduction is allowed provided the security has been held more than one year (long term capital gain property); otherwise, the deduction is limited to the donor’s adjusted tax basis.

Planned Giving

By remembering Alzheimer’s Orange County in your will, you can have a significant impact on improving the quality of care for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
