As a person progresses through the stages of dementia, their ability to communicate changes, requiring the care giver to modify their approach. This presentation provides an in-depth look at effective communication strategies tailored to each stage of dementia. Participants will learn about the progression of dementia and how cognitive changes impact communication abilities. The course will offer practical techniques for maintaining meaningful interactions, reducing frustration, and enhancing the quality of life for both patients and caregivers.

At completion of the course, participants will be able to:
