Facing Loss When the Whole Community Grieves

February 11 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Temple Beth El of South Orange County, 2A Liberty, Aliso Viejo, CA

If you are grieving or have been a victim of the LA Fires we welcome you to join our community as we come together to learn about loss and support each other.

Illustrated by the devastating wildfires in southern California, entire communities feel the impact of widespread crises. We often feel paralyzed to respond or simply don’t know what to do but we feel the pain deeply, even if we don’t know individuals whose homes were destroyed or businesses lost. Caregiving resources are often taxed beyond the limits but friends can be immeasurably helpful in providing support in both emotional and practical ways. Join us as we talk about the challenges of community-wide grief and how we can help friends and neighbors while also caring for ourselves in these mass tragedies.

Beverages and light desserts will be available during the workshop.

To register for either in-person or online participation, please RSVP to Becky Lomaka by email at blomaka@oconnormortuary.com by February 9th – Open to the South Orange County adult community 18 years and older–

Workshop is free of charge and will be live-streamed
