Dr. Carl Becker, Specially Appointed Professor of Policy Science at the Medical School of Kyoto University, Japan and Dr. William G. (Bill) Hoy, Clinical Professor Emeritus of Medical Humanities at Baylor University, Waco, TX will discuss research on medical ethics at end of life, psychosocial support for terminal patients, creating meaning-making, and the importance of spiritual experiences of patients facing death.
