Meet Miriam Romo, the first of our two Administrative Professional caregiver honorees for the 18th Annual Visionary Women Caregivers Awards.
Miriam Romo has been serving the senior population for over 20 years with heart, soul, and compassionate energy. Starting her career in Assisted Living, she helped families navigate difficult transitions and naturally progressed into hospice care, where she exhibited exemplary care regardless of the circumstances. For example, one stormy evening, Miriam received an urgent call about a rapidly declining patient. Braving extreme weather, she arrived within 30 minutes, providing critical support, ensuring a peaceful transition, and helping the family get their loved one admitted that same night. This is just one of many examples highlighting Miriam’s unwavering commitment and compassion for vulnerable seniors, for which she has become well-known.
