Alzheimer’s Orange County is proud to welcome Miriam Romo to its board of directors.
Miriam brings over 20 years of experience in senior healthcare, starting in Assisted Living & Memory Care communities, where she developed a deep understanding of their regulatory requirements. Her transition from Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFEs) to hospice care reflects her commitment to serve seniors and their families. In her current role at CareCHOICES Hospice & Palliative Services, Miriam leads community outreach and business development, collaborating with Skilled Nursing Facilities, RCFEs, physicians, and senior support services. She is dedicated to addressing the challenges families face in navigating complex healthcare systems, using education and advocacy to bridge these gaps.
