Alzheimer’s Orange County’s biggest event of the year is just a few days away! Join us on Saturday, March 15 at Angel Stadium for Walk4ALZ, our annual Alzheimer’s walk. Review these tips and day-of reminders to make sure you’re ready for the event.
Weather
Saturday is forecasted to be partly sunny, but cooler temperatures are expected in the morning so make sure to dress appropriately to stay warm throughout the morning.
Walk Route
The walk is approximately two miles in length, suitable for all ages and will take walkers in and out of Angel Stadium. Come dressed in your full Walk4ALZ spirit by wearing blue or wear a Walk4ALZ t-shirt. The walk route is wheelchair friendly, but participants are required to bring their own wheelchair they wish to use. Free walk bibs will be available the day of the event for you fill out with the name of the person you’re walking for.
Dogs
Please note, due to Angel Stadium regulations, unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the walk route or inside the stadium. Leashed dogs are permitted in the festival area and must be accompanied at all times. Stop by the Doggy Dugout booth to get your furry friend a treat.
